Mickler's Landing sits on Ponte Vedra Beach in St. Johns County — a wide, gently sloping Atlantic beach with public parking and a short walk to the water. It is this site's highest-priority station because Northeast Florida typically sees the mullet run first.

Schools often hug the troughs outside the first sandbar on northeast and east winds. When birds work and the water looks nervous, predators are usually already on the edges of the bait.
