Jacksonville Beach sits on the Atlantic just south of Mayport and the St. Johns River mouth. The fishing pier and adjacent surf give mullet and their predators multiple ambush edges as schools migrate south.
Expect action to build after Mickler's and Mayport start reporting bait, then continue as pods slide toward St. Augustine.
